As a part of my studies at Ohio University, I enrolled in the Podcasting certificate program. The series of courses taught through this allowed me to learn the full production process and create some of my own.
In May 2025, I launched an original series The Life Behind a Fandom: A Look at Video Game Fan Culture on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube through Buzzsprout. Additionally, I created social media accounts on Instagram, TikTok, and Bluesky to market the series.
During the four month process, I recorded all episodes, coordinated three interviews, edited the series, worked with musical artists to incorporate their music into the series, and created content for three social media accounts.

This episode was filmed as a stand alone interview in Fall 2023. I was responsible for preparing the interview questions, coordinating a time to meet with the guest, recording all audio, and all editing.
